This policy covers thelalabs.in and every app we operate. The short version: we collect as little as we can get away with, we do not sell it, and we never touch your payment details.
What we collect
When you buy something, we collect the email address you enter at checkout, plus the order reference Razorpay returns to us. That is what lets us deliver your product and find your order if something goes wrong. Some of our apps use a device-based sign-up instead of a password, which stores a local identifier on your device so the app remembers you between visits. If you email us, we keep that email thread.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI, netbanking, and wallet details go straight to Razorpay's secure checkout. We never see them, receive them, or store them. Razorpay's own privacy policy governs that data.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to see which pages get visited and roughly where visitors come from. It does not set advertising cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you across other websites. We cannot identify an individual visitor from it.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing here to consent to. Our apps may store a small amount of data locally on your device purely to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
How we use it
Only for the thing you gave it to us for: delivering your purchase, answering your message, issuing a refund, and keeping our apps working. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with the services required to actually run the product: Razorpay for payments, our email provider for delivery, and our hosting provider. Each of them only sees what they need to do their part. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules in India require. Support emails are kept while they are useful and then cleared out. Locally stored app data lives on your device until you clear it or uninstall the app.
Security
Everything is served over HTTPS, and access to order records is limited to us. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold small enough that there is very little to lose.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will action it, except where we are legally required to retain an order record. Clearing your browser or app storage removes anything stored locally on your device.
Children
Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
